The procedure outlined here relates to enrolment on CIDBT modules.
After Payment by cheque, PayPal or direct bank transfer.
We will send you a receipt for your payment via email, you will also receive a copy
of the agreement that you completed. Payments made using PayPal will also receive
a receipt from PayPal.
Your tutor is then sent your details. Within 21 days you receive your module Work
Book PDF from your tutor via e-mail.
You must then contact your tutor via e-mail to state that you have received your
pack and are ready to start the module. This is mandatory.
Although we allow 21 days for course delivery, most courses are dispatched within
14 days. If you do not receive any communications within 14 days immediately advise
the CIDBT by using our Contact Form so that they can resolve the matter quickly.
Your module course work and content from the CIDBT
All CIDBT module materials are sent by e-mail in Word or similar type documents or
PDFs. This is the most sensible and environmentally conscious way of reducing paper
use and course costs. Returned work should be in a Word or similar type file that
can be opened and marked by your tutor.
If you wish to have materials sent by post this may incur an additional charge, although
in some circumstances, (i.e. if you don't have access to a computer) this may not
be applied. You must make the postal request when the tutor FIRST contacts you by
email at the start of your module. All overseas students will receive material by
email only.
You can commence work as soon as the tutor is advised of your enrolment - this will
not affect the final submission date, which will be 6 months (depending on the module)
from the module start date that follows your enrolment.
Module Handbook for students
You are entitled to be provided with a Module Handbook by your tutor which contains
full details of your module content, learning outcomes and assessment tasks.
Other Course Material
Books, DVD's and Magazines are mandatory on all modules, these have to be purchased
separately and are not included in the initial module cost.
