dog psychology coursesBurns Pet Nutrition

Soon after qualifying as a Veterinary Surgeon, John Burns became aware of the effect that diet can have on the wellbeing and behaviour of dogs entering his surgery. Concerned at the quality of commercially available diets, in the early 90s he developed his own food, Burns Pet Nutrition.

John is keen to promote responsible pet ownership, and this involves the interaction of both owner and pet. Training using correct techniques not only provides a stimulus for the dog, but also enhances the owner/pet relationship and is to be encouraged. The courses offered by CIDBT will enable students to provide the necessary level of expertise needed in their local area and Burns Pet Nutrition is pleased to encourage this work through sponsorship.

canine psychologyInterpet Publishing

The Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour & Training offer the very best in education courses that I have seen. It is good that Colin Tennant's books that we publish are included in the courses.

Understanding dog behaviour and how to train dogs properly is a large part of what Interpet publishing try to promote and of course we whole heartedly support these courses.

Naturediet Pet Foods are proud to support and be affiliated with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour & Training.

Behavioural problems are common place within our canine population and the impact they can have range from merely undesirable behaviour traits through to animals that pose a physical danger to those around them.

Many traits will be learned behaviours and these animals can be trained to not respond or respond differently to the mechanism, however, for many dogs, diet can directly impact on the personality and mental aptitude; nutrition and dietary influence should therefore always be a major consideration within a training programme for both tutor and student.

We are sponsoring a large amount of new and original film production for all of the courses which will be coming on-lin month by month.
