CFBA Modules - Useful Information
We now offer a range of Programmes
with many new accredited modules. Each programme has
at least one Middlesex University Work Based Learning
module. Finance England will advise on your eligibility
for a part-time study grant which would be payable once
you have enrolled with the University. A full grant
may also be used to finance all your CFBA modules for
a year and then be renewed for the following year.

Entry requirements
Most CFBA canine-related modules
have minimum entry requirements. CFBA4110
Understanding Canine Care and Behaviour has been
designed as an introductory module for those without
the required experience and skills. More

All the CFBA modules and WBS
modules with Middlesex University are distance learning.

What happens when you book
a module
Once you have enrolled and the
module fee has been paid, your tutor will contact you
and guide you through all that you have to do to meet
the learning outcomes in the period allowed. More

BA(Hons) Degree
A combination of level 4, 5
and 6 modules providing 360 Credits, 240 of which will
have to be from CFBA modules. Minimum academic and experience
requirements apply. More information>>
FdA Foundation Degree
A combination of level 4 and
5 modules providing 240 Credits, 160 of which come from
CFBA modules with a wide choice of options to suit your
career or personal objectives. Successful completion
of a FdA can then be topped up with further study to
a full BA or BA(Hons) Degree later. More

HE Certificates
A combination of Level 4 and
5 modules providing 120 Credits, 80 of which come from
CFBA modules in either canine or feline subjects. More

CFBA Cetificates
Combine CFBA modules with a
total of 40 Credits with one Work Based Learning module
of 20 Credits for a University accredited Certificate.
Choose from a selection of ready-made programmes or
even make your own selection for a Custom-made certificate!

Middlesex University
The Institute for Work Based
Learning at Middlesex University pioneered the development
of work-based learning at higher education level and
is a nationally recognised centre for excellence. They
define work-based learning as: learning that provides
a flexible learning experience that is delivered through
work, in work, for work.
As soon as you enrol on your first WBS module in the
programme you're doing you will be entitled to apply
for a grant for all your modules and use all the facilities
at the Hendon Campus and online. You will also have
a Programme Advisor to guide you through your studies.
