Choosing the right programme to enrol
on
BA(Hons) Degree
To enrol on the BA(Hons) Degree programme
you will need vocational experience
in your field of study. Those with suitable experience
in subject-related areas can click
here for an occupational list. However, acandidate
with little or no practical experience but with certain
academic qualifications in dog-related disciplines may
commence with the Understanding
Care & Behaviour Module, after which we would
review their progress and recommend a suitable programme.

Foundation Degree FdA
You can start a Foundation Degree programme
with little or no experience and at any age. Those with
suitable experience in subject-related areas can click
here for an occupational list. However, a candidate
with little or no practical experience may start with
the Understanding Care &
Behaviour Module, after which we would review their
progress and recommend a suitable programme.
Because we recognise that returning to
study, or starting afresh, can be challenging and sometimes
confusing, students will be allocated a Programme
Advisor by Middlesex University to help them achieve
and this person would work closely with your CFBA module
tutor.

Certificate of Higher Education
If you prefer to limit your studies to
a 7 or 8 modules then the Certificate of Higher Education
is equivalent to 120 credits at Level 4/5. You will
still have a Programme Advisor
and Middlesex University student status and may be able
to continue to a degree programme later.

CFBA Certificates
We also offer a range of CFBA Certificates
in specific professional study areas. These usually
comprise just 2 or 3 modules in a specialist field and
a University Work Based Learning module, providing 60
credits.
