MODULE NO. CFBA1107

Dogs and the law

Every so often, media reports of some kind of illegal or nuisance activity involving dogs brings some aspect of the law relating to dogs into the public eye. Most dog owners have heard of the Dangerous Dogs Act, but in this course we look broadly at the laws relating to public safety and control, dog welfare, the owner’s responsibilities, trespass, poaching and illegal hunting and many more topics. When advising on dog behaviour, legal factors can affect the advice that you proffer. This course is a must for anyone working with dogs full-time.
