To understand the basic principles and causes along with compounding factors of dog on dog and dog on person aggression.

To understand the safe testing of an aggressive dogs and it's behaviour and the use of stooge dogs and trained helpers.

To set down workable practical solutions for the reformation of aggression in dogs.

Discover the compounding factors and social impact of dog aggression

To assess the owner's knowledge specifically where it relates to the aggression problem onset and development

Assess breed predisposition in various aggression types

Understand the law in relation to dog aggression for the client and practitioner

Understand the various learning phases and critical periods in aggression onset and how that relates to the owner's knowledge

Normal minimum entry qualification

The normal minimum entry qualification is that the student will have to meet one of the following three criteria:

Successfully completed module number CFBA1101

Have at least six months' experience in their specific professional field including hands-on experience

Other equivalent relevant experience where the candidate is able to demonstrate, at interview and with references, a satisfactory breadth of relevant knowledge.
