This course offers a practical summary of the behaviour and maintenance of marine and freshwater tropical and coldwater fishes. The most essential guidance is provided including detail of the systems for keeping and sustaining them in aquaria and ponds.

Fishes are the only pet animal that inhabits a different environment to us. Why this fundamental difference is important to aquatic life and how a basic understanding of water chemistry and filtration is the route to successful husbandry is given in detail. This unique course puts an emphasis on how to maintain related parameters including essential aspects of compatibility and fish health.
