RELAUNCH SUCCESS!

Dogs Monthly, the UK's longest established canine monthly title, celebrates its 25 th anniversary in 2008 in style with a facelift under new ownership boasting a talented and mad-about-dogs editorial, advertising and design team!

The title has been recently purchased by the family-owned and run ABM Publishing Ltd and was launched at Crufts 2008, showcasing its improved design, entertaining and informative content. With a bigger (116-page) pagination, bursting with fresh ideas and fabulous features written by writers who are well-known and respected within the dog world, Dogs Monthly now boasts a bigger, brighter and better look than ever before.

Says Darren Marriott, publisher and director of ABM Publishing : “This is hugely exciting time for us at ABM Publishing, having taken on such a prestigious title, and I'm extremely proud to say we have a great team here who are all keen to make Dogs Monthly a canine title to be reckoned with. In fact, sales figures from our April issue confirm that Dogs Monthly is now the UK's fastest-growing canine magazine.”

Caroline Davis, Dog's Monthly 's new editor, is no stranger to the dog world. Caroline has written and edited numerous practical care books about dogs, including  co-authoring the best-selling Dog Training in a Weekend , as well having formerly been acting editor and sub-editor on Your Dog magazine.

Says Caroline: “To redesign and relaunch Dogs Monthly in only seven weeks was a mammoth undertaking – with everyone pulling out all the stops to achieve it. I think it's been well worth it – and our readers think so too, judging from the staggering amount of positive feedback and lovely letters we've had since the first issue went on sale at Crufts.

“What has been so heartening is that so many people in the industry have been truly magnificent in their encouragement, generosity and support: I sincerely thank them all.”

“We have enlisted a fabulous panel of talented contributors, who are well-known and respected within the industry, providing fresh new ideas which are supported by fantastic pictures and illustrations.

“I can promise that every issue will be packed with expert, practical advice on caring for and training pet dogs from the best of the canine world's writers, vets and trainers.

“We aim to provide readers of all ages with practical, down-to-earth, advice and ideas that are not only relevant to them and their pet, but are also achievable now. I feel we have certainly managed that in the new-look Dogs Monthly .”
