Terms and conditions

The web site contains specific rules and regulations applicable for students enrolling on and attending module with the Cambridge Institute for Dog Behaviour & Training. Quite simply, each student is expected to comply with these rules and regulations and we ask that they read them and agree to them at the outset.

Payment

Tuition fees are payable in full or by instalment before any module materials are dispatched or attendance of a residential or one-day non-residential module. Payment can be made by credit or debit card via PayPal (you do not need to be a PayPal member), direct to our bank or by Cheque. We will take all reasonable care to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website.

Fees

Students will be charged tuition and fees at rates established by CIDBT and published on the web site. The tuition and fees may be subject to change. The CIDBT evaluates institutional tuition and fee rates periodically. Tuition rates may also vary depending on a student's enrolment status. The tuition and fees do not include other program costs, such as, but not limited to, books, supplies, equipment costs and other costs associated with the selected program of study. These additional costs are the obligation of the student.

It is a student's sole responsibility to ensure that all tuition and fees for each module (module) are paid prior to beginning that module or module. For a detailed breakdown of a financial plan, he must refer to a financial aid award letter and/or payment agreements.

Travel & Hotel Accommodation

Hotel accommodation, travel and food are the responsibility of the student.

Workshop Cancellation & Attendance

Each residential workshop must be attended in the sequence specified in the module information. CIDBT reserves the right to cancel any workshop for which fewer than three students have registered. If cancellation becomes necessary, we will notify all registered students either by telephone, e-mail or text message at least 14 days in advance. Wherever feasible either an alternative module or a new start date will be offered but if the student does not choose to accept that offer he will be eligible for a full refund of module fees.

Module containing Workshops

If you book a module that contains a workshop that part of your module is mandatory and you will be advised of the day or days when you should attend. If your module contains a workshop (of any amount of days) this date is booked on the day that you enrol on the module. If you do not turn up for a workshop or cancel the chosen dates in advance for whatever reason you will lose the workshop which means you cannot complete the remainder of the module. There are no exceptions to this rule due to the workshop preparation costs that we incur from the day you enrol. However, you may apply in writing or by e-mail for an exceptional circumstance consideration case, whereby, if successful, we may offer you a place on the next available workshop at an additional fixed fee of £95.00 and at the module tutor's discretion. Click on the button below to complete the change of workshop date request form.
